Applications for bear hunting licenses are being accepted now through Friday, May 3, wherever Minnesota hunting and fishing licenses are sold, online, and by telephone. Wisconsin Tests Show CWD in Deer has Doubled

There were 1,060 white-tailed deer that tested positive for chronic wasting disease in Wisconsin during the 2018 surveillance year, which ran from April 1 through March 31. This compares to 597 that tested positive during the 2017 surveillance year; however state wildlife heath officials say the number of deer tested in 2018 was double that of 2017. SE Alaska Sets 2019 Chinook Salmon All Gear Harvest Limit   Under provisions of the Pacific Salmon Treaty, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) announced that the preseason Chinook salmon all-gear harvest limit for Southeast Alaska (SEAK) in 2019 is 137,500 fish. Chronic Wasting Disease Not Detected in North Carolina’s Deer Herd

After testing more than 3,000 harvested white-tailed deer during the 2018-19 season, the N.C.
