Ohio 2019 Snapping Turtle & Softshell Turtle season is open July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. Only snapping and softshell turtles may be legally taken. Snapping turtles and softshell turtles must have a straight-line carapace length of 11 inches or greater to be taken, and there is no daily limit on the number that may be taken. Vermont’s muzzleloader season antlerless deer permit applications are on Vermont Fish & Wildlife’s website. The deadline to apply for a muzzleloader antlerless deer permit is August 14. Cap Reached on Delaware 2019 Surf-Fishing Vehicle Permits

DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation announced recently that it has reached its cap of 17,000 Delaware surf-fishing permits, as voted on this year by the state’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Council. With the cap figure attained, no more surf tag permits will be issued until December.
