Four Invasive Carp Confirmed in Minnesota Waters

The bighead carp was captured at the Xcel Energy King Power Plant in Oak Park Heights. Montana FWP Close Colstrip Lake Trail after Mountain Lion Sighting

Recent sightings of a mountain lion and two kittens near Castle Rock Lake in Colstrip have prompted Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and local law enforcement to close a trail around the southeast side of the lake. North Carolina Angler Lands New State Record for Redbreast Sunfish

NC angler Alphonso Jackson broke a 36-year-old freshwater fish state record on June 10 after landing a 2-pound, 1-ounce redbreast sunfish from the Lumber River in Wagram. Jackson, who is from Maxton, caught the sunfish using a cricket as bait. His catch breaks the previous record by 5 ounces.
