Florida Barracuda, Anemone Workshops Feb 22-25

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is hosting several south Florida workshops in February to gather public input on barracuda and anemones. These workshops are free and open to anyone interested in participating. The barracuda workshops will focus on recent management changes that went into effect Nov. 1, 2015, which included implementing a two-fish per person and six-fish per vessel daily recreational and commercial bag limit in state waters off Collier, Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin counties. The goal of the workshops is to determine if there is a need for any additional management changes for barracuda, including, but not limited to, a possible size limit.
