The California (CDFW) has opened the recreational razor clam fishery in Humboldt County following a recommendation from state health agencies that the consumption of razor clams in the area no longer poses a significant threat for domoic acid exposure. Ohio Transportation Research Center, Inc. (TRC) is holding a lottery drawing in August for special white-tailed deer hunting opportunities during the 2021-22 season. These controlled hunts will take place on TRC-managed property in Logan and Union counties. Illinois 2021 Controlled pheasant hunting opportunities will be available at 18 DNR sites during the 2021-22 hunting season.  Dates and permit reservation information are now available online.
