CDFW Opens Razor Clam Fishery In Humboldt County

The California (CDFW) has opened the recreational razor clam fishery in Humboldt County following a recommendation from state health agencies that the consumption of razor clams in the area no longer poses a significant threat for domoic acid exposure. CDFW reminds clammers that the daily bag limit for razor clams is 20 and the first 20 clams dug must be retained regardless of size or condition. Ohio Transportation Research Center, Inc. (TRC) is holding a lottery drawing in August for special white-tailed deer hunting opportunities during the 2021-22 season. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announces its managed waterfowl hunts for this hunting season. The pre-season reservation period will run Sept. 1-18 with results posted Oct. 1. The lease agreement between the Bruce B. Cameron Foundation and the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) that established the Morris Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA) has expired and will not be renewed, according to Kem Shaw, WVDNR District 5 wildlife biologist, Wildlife Resources Section. North Dakota’s 2021 early Canada goose season dates are set, with bag limits and licensing requirements the same as last year. Opening day is Aug. 15 in all three zones. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recently announced that the 2021 Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorization selection is now open.
